Selective Color (.fselectivecolor)
A standalone native preset containing all settings of this adjustment.
Reviewed against the application source on 5 October 2026. Focale is in active development; available commands and published packages may differ by build.
Use in the application
In this adjustment’s editor, Load preset accepts the Focale file or its Photoshop counterpart. Save Focale preset keeps native precision; Export Photoshop preset writes the Adobe file.
File structure
The UTF-8 JSON envelope has format focale-adjustment-preset, integer version 1, the matching kind and a complete settings object. One file contains one preset; it has no external resources or layer identity. Every setting is required, including defaults.

}Validation and limits
Maximum size: 64 KiB. A wrong kind or version, missing or unknown settings, nonnumeric or nonfinite values, out-of-range values and fractional toggles reject the whole file. Nothing is clamped or silently replaced.
Photoshop interchange
Both formats can be imported and exported. Photoshop files cover supported settings and may quantize values; use the native preset for an exact backup of Focale values.
